YEMEN

Hadramaut

For years, Yemen was a distant point on the map for me, somewhere almost mythical, defined more by headlines and perceptions than by reality. But traveling there challenged that idea completely. What I found was a country of extraordinary landscapes, ancient towns, and a depth of culture that is difficult to capture in words.

From the dramatic silence of Wadi Do’an to the towering skyline of Shibam, every place felt like a world of its own. Together, they revealed a side of Yemen that few people ever get to see: a place that is not only rich in history, but also unforgettable in the way it changes your perspective on travel itself.
