I don’t know about you, but London is one of my favorite cities in Europe. It’s diversity makes it unique and photogenic… and therefore, with Instagrammable places.

With so many appealing images on offer, it is normal that the most promoted places are the target of curiosity for those looking to take some nice portraits in the city.

But it’s not just instagrammers and bloggers who seek out the best places for the perfect photos. Everyone is attracted by the images that London provides.

It is impossible to list, in a single post, all the desirable places to photograph in the city, since every corner, every square, every street and facade, has enormous potential.

In the list below you will find not only the hottest places, but also some less obvious but equally appealing places.

And with a huge advantage, they are free!

Bond Street

Instagrammable Places London — ^{Walking on} ^{Bond Street}

Bond Street is to London as 5th Avenue is to New York.

It is the place where you will find the most charismatic, reputable, and therefore most expensive brand-name stores in the world.

Here you can get a glimpse of a more chic London, with a more elaborate and refined image, which allows you to take some very nice pictures.

Neal’s Yard

Neal’s Yard is located right in the center of London and is not exactly an easy place to find.

It is a courtyard in the middle of several buildings with picturesque and colorful facades, lots of flowers, and catering establishments.

Don’t miss it because it’s really worth a visit.

Big Ben

Big Ben can be photographed from all angles and more.

From whatever perspective you photograph it, you will get spectacular photos.

If you add your presence to the landmark and some beautiful framing, the pictures are a guaranteed success.

Thames banks

The Thames River is all scenic. Because it runs through the city and through the most emblematic places, it allows for a multitude of photo opportunities.

Whether on the north or south bank of the river, there are a number of spots where you can stop to photograph, so be sure to walk both banks.

Queens Walk

When you stand on Big Ben and cross Westminster Bridge, if you turn right and go down the stairs, you will find one of the most fantastic vantage points in the city to photograph.

The location consists of an archway on Queens Walk, which allows you to take less common shots of Big Ben.

Just be careful in case you go alone, because the place is a bit hidden, so don’t stay there too long.

St Pancras

St. Pancras is a train station / public transport interface, with fabulous architecture and numerous sculptural pieces.

It’s not exactly an obvious place to go to photograph, but trust me, it’s well worth it!

Shoreditch

Shoreditch was the place that most positively surprised me in London.

Here you will find absolutely spectacular urban art murals. From renowned artists such as Bansky to lesser known ones, there isn’t a wall that doesn’t make you stop.

Be sure to walk calmly through the streets of this open-air gallery.

St. Paul’s Cathedral

At the back of St. Paul’s Cathedral you will find a building, which is actually a shopping center, with glass facades.

Take some pictures here with the framing of the Cathedral and the reflections of it in the glass building.

It is a perfect contrast between the old and the modern.

Extra tip: Don’t forget to lower the angle of the photo

Hyde Park

Hyde Park is an urban park in the heart of London. As it is quite large it has a huge scenic diversity.

From exotic flowers, to the animals that live there, you will find a little bit of everything to take pictures of.

Notting Hill

Notting Hill is most likely one of the best known and most photographed neighborhoods in London.

From the doll’s houses in pastel shades, to the facades of stores, to the alleys and lanes, everything is photographable, or “Instagrammable”.

There is no shortage of beautiful places to photograph. Just keep in mind that people live in the houses where you are going to take pictures, and try not to be inconvenient.

Sky Garden

The Sky Garden consists of the top floor of a skyscraper, it is a kind of cold greenhouse, which you can access for free.

No que vos diz respeito não sei, mas Londres é uma das minhas cidades preferidas na Europa.

A sua diversidade torna-a única e fotogénica… e, consequentemente, instagramável.

Com tanta oferta de imagens apelativas, é normal que os lugares mais promovidos sejam alvo de curiosidade para aqueles que procuram tirar uns retratos bonitos na cidade.

Mas não são apenas os instagramers e bloggers que procuram os melhores locais para as fotografias perfeitas. Toda a gente é atraída pelas imagens que Londres proporciona.
