Excited to be back in Lebanon in a couple of days. If you haven’t visited this country yet, please do yourself a favor and book the trip! Lebanon has history, heritage sites, awesome landscapes, cultural diversity, delicious food and above all, extraordinary people! It has everything to provide you a memorable adventure.

Veronica was selling crafts in the main square of San Juan Chamula. After visiting the church, I decided to sit on the floor next to her and talk. Timidly and in broken English mixed with Spanish, she exchanged a few words with me. Veronica's curiosity went far beyond verbal conversation, it was focused on my skin color. She discreetly touched my arm and laughed because I was so white. I asked her how old she was. She clearly didn't know for sure and replied: "the same as you, we are the same!". I thought: “Yes we are Veronica, we are equal in our differences, in our curiosities”. I curious about her, she about me!
